Looking to make a career move? A prominent construction company within the Santa Clara County is looking to hire a payroll manager for direct hire.
Job Description:
- Manage a team of 4 in house payroll administrators
- Ensure day to day payroll processing and tax compliance objectives
- Oversee and assist the payroll team with processing of union, non-union and certified payroll
- Audit processes and procedures to ensure follow up and resolution of payroll related issues
- Maintain business relationships with internal and external partners
- Perform payroll month end, quarter end and annual close functions
- Work in conjunction with QMS management representative and legal department to ensure documents are archived in accordance with retention policies
- Other assigned duties
Job Requirements:
- Must have union and certified payroll experience
- Must be accurate and knowledgeable with payroll
- Have prior experience in managing payroll team
