The Banquet Captain is responsible for: training and directing the banquet staff in servicing all banquet activities in order to ensure a successful function and repeat business.
Requirements
- Must be able to set, serve and breakdown banquet tables with china, glass & silverware.
- Must be able to carry a tray of 10 banquet dinners 75 feet.
- Must be able to read and understand banquet event orders, follow direction from management and have great service skills and a positive attitude.
- Must have excellent math skills, computer skills, work well on Excel and Word programs.
- The perfect candidate will have great leadership skills and the ability to supervise a staff of up to 20 people.
- Must also have extensive beverage knowledge and be a team player.
