Job overview
- The Fitness Instructor will be responsible for the safety and service of guests and Spa members while using the exercise and fitness facilities and programs offered by the Spa.
- Greet and recognize each guest entering the exercise area.
- Volunteer expertise to any and all guests reacting to their needs by observing their use of equipment and assisting them as necessary.
- Provide an environment conducive to exercise and demanding of your personal services.
- Assist in scheduling services, assist Spa Manager, assist in training new Spa personnel.
Requirements
- National Certification encompassing personal training and fitness assessments, specifically ACSM, ACE, AFAA or a Bachelors Degree in a related field.
- 1-2 Years of experience.
- Knowledge of, and ability to demonstrate, exercise equipment.
- Ability to administer a fitness assessment consisting of submaximal stress test, percentage of body fat (caliper), flexibility testing, muscle endurance and muscle strength testing.
