Spartan is currently hiring an experienced Assistant Production Manager in Lenexa, KS for a reputable manufacturing facility. Assistant Production Manager Job Description Assistant Production Manager duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Managing general production of goods and supervises productions employee team. Coordinates and manages schedule for production of goods & shipping/receiving deadlines.
• Schedule shipping/receiving of trucks.
• Managing shipping/receiving associates.
• Unload/load & bulk product
• Reports on issues regarding inventory and production of good schedule

• Manages levels of all inventories including raw materials. • Perform preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment • Check and repair the equipment problems reported by operators • Modify or build equipment per instructions • Maintain the required parts inventory, tools inventory and maintenance logs per schedule set by management • Schedule repairs with minimal disruption to plant operations • Assists general manager in managing sales to existing customers • Perform general customer service functions • Work with SQF practitioner on production related SQF issues • Helps develop, oversee, and implement safety program • Job Requirements • Have full knowledge of plant flow, understanding how machinery works • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot machine problems • Industrial maintenance experience is required • Welding experience • Electrical and PLC experience • Strong knowledge of pumping systems • Able to stand, stoop, bend and crouch • Willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen Ideal Assistant Production Manager Candidates • Relevant experience preferred • Committed to safety at all times • Excellent attendance Pay Rate: $11-14 hour Shift/Hours: 7am-4pm Monday - Friday How To Apply Email resume to: 7383-br@spartanstaffing.com Apply online at www.spartanstaffing.com and then c all the branch to schedule an appointment: 913-652-0005.
