Position could be assigned to either
2nd shift work hours 1: 30 PM to 11: PM or 3rd shift work hours 9: 30 PM to 7: 30 AM
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant prefer automotive plant experience.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communicative skills.
Good computer skills to include EXCEL.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide focus on Safety, Quality, Cost and productivity of the area assigned.
Ensure production requirements are met.
Allocate, monitor and report manning weekly within direct and indirect labor goals.
Train, coach and lead production team members.
Support and promote all initiatives of the 5 S program.
Participate and facilitate training, evaluations and support cross-functional team activities.
Promote teamwork and be a team player in all areas of the plant.
Report production data to appropriate groups in a timely manner.
Lead and enforce all of the companies' policies and procedures.
