Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of WDFG invoices by coding and keying them into SAP Financials and for meeting set productivity standards. This position is involved in period close processes, is responsible for meeting all weekly and periodic deadlines, and performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by Management. This position and typically reports to the Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager

Summary

Essential Functions:
- Processes large volume of trade invoices into SAP Financials in a timely and accurate manner
- Codes and keys invoices following set standards and procedures
- Meets weekly and period close deadlines in a timely manner
- Processes matched and approved non trade invoices into SAP Financials
- Communicates with internal and external customers to resolve issues of incomplete/incorrect invoice information
- Batches processed invoices and readies them for scanning and imaging
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
- Requires a High School diploma or general education development (GED) diploma; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- Requires 1-3 years of job related experience
- Requires experience in data entry and 10 key-processing
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with individuals
- Requires basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions
- SAP Financials experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
