About this job
Job Responsibilities:
*Gather detailed medical information from patients regarding their medical history, current treatment regimen and recommended treatment while utilizing an electronic script application (as well as your own clinical knowledge)
*Inputting data into our custom database and enrolling new patients into various services via telephone
*Triage patient calls to specialized teams and schedule physician-lead conference calls as needed
*Work closely with physician-lead research team to determine best method to satisfy patient need(s)
*Identify areas of potential impact during the enrollment process and communicate that to research team
*Conduct outgoing phone calls to patients that have been referred to us in an effort to offer enrollment into our programs
*Identify educational materials (books, pamphlets, medical journal articles) to satisfy patient needs
*Provide web navigation and assist in registering on our patient- facing web site
*Demonstrate exceptional customer service for all clients
Desired Skills and Experience:
*A college graduate in a health-related field or relevant work experience
*Customer Service and working with patients/consumers in a health related environment required
*Comfortable speaking on the phone requesting confidential medical information
*Proficient with basic computer skills (Microsoft Applications, Outlook, etc., )
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Strong telephonic communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
*Bi-lingual in English/ Spanish a plus
