Commercial Superintendent Job Description
• Coordinating and scheduling multiple subcontractors, suppliers and workers to meet schedule requirements while maintaining safety onsite
• Scheduling updates, three week look aheads, and recover schedules
• Promptly identify and work with the project team to develop and execute an action plan to correct cost over runs or schedule impacts
• Interacting with clients/owners in a professional manner
Job Requirements
• Current drivers license and clean driving record
• Pre-employment background and drug check will be conducted
• Minimum 5-10 years supervising commercial construction projects
• Experience with hospital and healthcare facility construction is a major plus
• Ability to develop CPM master schedule and execute schedules
• Must be computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite. Microsoft Project is a plus
• Proficient in understanding drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of the means and methods for a wide variety of building systems and construction types
• Demonstrated ability to supervise field personnel
• Excellent documentation, record keeping, communication, and problem solving skill
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements
• Willingness to travel is a plus
