Job Description

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Assistant Store Manager to join one of our Independent Business Solutions (IBS) locations,  which in essence is a NAPA parts store inside our customer's place of business.
The Assistant Store Manager partners with the Assistant Manager to increase sales and profitability by creating a superior customer experience and a culture of employee engagement.
Responsibilities

     
      Lead a successful teamManage store operations to maximize sales, profits and customer serviceInventory protection, asset management and operational issuesOverall cleanliness and readiness of vehicles, sales floor, stock room and outside areasMaintain a safe environment for all
       

    Qualifications

       
        High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school, ASE Parts Certification and/or college degree a plus.Requires demonstrated leadership in the automotive after-market service industry, preferably an automotive parts department, dealership, or retail establishment. Experience in heavy duty parts and service or paints is also a plus.Passion for delivering customer care and building long term telationshipsEnjoy working with people in a fast-paced, competitive environment while remaining calm, cool and collectedKnowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systemsStamina to stand and walk for entire work shiftAgility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach to upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessaryStrength to lift 60 lbs of merchandiseDriving aptitude for both manual and automatic vehiclesValid Driver's License with:No DWI convictions within the past four yearsNo more than three moving violations or two at-fault accidents in the last three yearsFlexibility in schedule including evenings, weekends and holidaysPre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check
