About this job
This position will be responsible for various payroll related processes, record keeping and communication as well as potentially managing a team of 1-5 seasonal Ops Admin employees. The Payroll Assistant is responsible for ensuring their team of Ops Admins are trained in all required processes. The position is also responsible for developing training tools and coordinating training sessions for the service Team Members with regards to specific processes. A payroll binder should be on hand and updated as necessary. Responsibilities will include: Update Weekly Hours Binder for Associates. Coordinate Paperless Initiative which includes Direct Deposit Processing and Cancellation, Cash card sign up and cancellation. Control cash Card ordering and inventory control. Voided Check processing. Change and Correct forms. Coordinate Payroll Distribution Plan and Implementation. Research of Payroll Complaint forms. Act as a Corporate Contact regarding payroll issues relating to associates. Provide instructions to associates regarding garnishments and child support requests. Enter Light Duty hours daily.
Requirements
Knowledge of State Specific Labor Laws. Proficient in Excel including Formulas, Shared Worksheets, Pivot Tables and Report Management. Experience in fast paced warehouse environment is a plus.
