Spartan is currently hiring Forklift Operators – Reach truck in Spartanburg, SC for a local distribution center.
Forklift Operator Job Description
Forklift Operators will use Reach Truck to receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Keep records and compile stock reports. Manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Operate a Reach Truck to pull pallets of boxes off racks
- Put pallets on racks
- Use of RF Scanner to pick orders
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Must be able to operate a Reach Truck and take a test to verify
- Must be able to stand on feet for entire shift
- Must be comfortable bending, stooping, reaching
- Able to work in a Smoke Free Environment
Ideal Forklift Operator Candidates
- Relevant experience preferred
- Committed to safety at all times
- Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $9 hour
Shift/Hours: 2nd shift 3/5pm – 3/5am Monday – Friday with possible OT on weekends
