Spartan is currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic Assistant – Entry Level in Wellsville, KS for a reputable manufacturing facility.
Maintenance Mechanic Assistant Job Description
Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for assisting with the overall general maintenance of the building and facilities as well as the machinery. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment
- Check and repair the equipment problems reported by operators
- Modify or build equipment per instructions
- Maintain the required parts inventory, tools inventory and maintenance logs per schedule set by management
- Schedule repairs with minimal disruption to plant operations
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Be mechanically inclined with basic knowledge and aptitude
- Welding and electrical experience are a plus
- Able to stand, stoop, bend and crouch
- Willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen
Ideal Maintenance Mechanic Assistant Candidates
- Relevant experience preferred
- Associates Degree preferred
- Committed to safety at all times
- Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $12 hour
Shift/Hours: 6am-4pm Monday - Friday
