Manufacturing Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Manpower of Shelby Township is looking to hire a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician for one of clients in Warren, Michigan. The ideal candidate will posses the following qualifications as listed below: Experienced with electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic pumps, roof top units, welding, blueprint reading, electrical schematic reading, bay door openers, and preventive maintenance. 1. Certification in Industrial Electronic Repair or Industrial Maintenance Mechanic a definite asset. 2. Some experience performing machine maintenance activities. 3. Some experience performing general building maintenance activities. 4. Strong mechanical background and a general understanding of the function and operation of fabrication equipment. 5. Good problem solving/troubleshooting skills. As assigned by Maintenance Coordinator, perform necessary and scheduled preventative maintenance activities in a timely manner. 1. Ensure that all preventative maintenance activities are documented per established procedures. 2. Ensure that any safety issues arising from machine maintenance are immediately attended to or referred to Maintenance Coordinator. 3. Perform general building repairs as required (ie. doors, replacing broken parts).
