The Regional Account Executive (RAE) manages Key Accounts, to drive sales for some of our top brands, into specified accounts. The RAE will create and manage the Annual Operating Plan to reach these objectives. They will be responsible for the selling into Grocery, Gas and convenience accounts such as Kroger, Hy-vee, Quik Trip and more. The RAE will represent brands within the Direct Store Delivery Carbonated Beverage Drink portfolio (ex. 7Up, Sunkist, A&W Root Beer), and our DSD Non-Carb Portfolio (ex. Snapple, Fiji, Vita Coco, Bai).

This role will office in our Nashville, TN branch, with territory of Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Saint Louis with approximately 10% travel outside of the region.



POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Manage assigned regional off-premise chains with responsibility for sales growth and profit of assigned accounts.
  • Align system resources to implement marketing and operational programs according to plan, schedule, and budget.
  • Account penetration and retention at the national or corporate level.
  • Negotiate ad schedules and pricing strategies and drive awareness for new product authorization and promotions.
  • Develop and implement Annual Operating Plans which support business objectives. Ensures execution of programs throughout the system.
  • Ensure business plan and marketing activities are developed to deliver volume, profit, and customer satisfaction commitments made to all stakeholders during business acquisition and/or stewardship planning.
  • Work cross-functionally with other divisions to deliver customer-specific solutions.
  • Solve operational or execution issues with customers, or bottlers.
  • Increase distribution into new accounts.
  • Experienced using syndicated data in the selling process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree from accredited university or college and three years of CPG sales experience OR
  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) and seven years of CPG sales experience AND
  • Two years key account experience in grocery or convenience channel
