Good with numbers? We are looking for Cash Counters to process all revenues for Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk.
*Part Time/Seasonal Role*
Cash Counters at Universal Orlando are responsible for:
- Prepares and processes cash revenues from USF, IOA, and City Walk. Must meet the minimum processed transactions per hour metric.
- Prepares cash and coin transfers within the time constraints of bank deadlines.
- Adheres to the internal and dual control policies of UO and meet the minimum average of 2 points or below for over/short matrix points.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
To perform the role of a Cash Counter successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
- High school degree or GED required.
- One to three years heavy cash handling, math skills, and balancing required.
- One to three years cash settlement systems experience and Bank Teller experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A background check is mandatory and results must meet Universal Orlando’s background check criteria.
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of the Cash Counter job.
- Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) sit for prolonged periods; use hands and fingers to grip, pinch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; use repeating motions more than twice per minute; complete repetition-using an input device-a keyboard or mouse-in a steady manner; lift and push up to 30 pounds with control; work in small or tight spaces; use close vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
- Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) reach, pull, push with hands and arms below head.
- Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) talk; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach, pull, push with hands and arms above head.
