Looking for experience in Integrated Marketing? The Integrated Marketing Communications - Consumer Segments Intern will support all Integrated Marketing Communication teams through the execution of campaigns within the Outer U.S. (OUS) and Florida markets. The intern will also provide support to multiple channels from In – Market to Canada.
The Integrated Marketing Communications - Consumer Segments Intern at Universal Orlando is responsible for:
- Working within the creative development process in alignment with campaign objectives including but not limited to development of project briefs and assisting in the coordination of creative development.
- Work with internal partners and teams to secure licensing, legal, and stakeholder’s approvals.
- Providing general support for various projects that support the OUS and Florida segment market teams.
- Initiating projects in the workflow process as needed.
- Creating and maintaining production schedules, timelines, and presentations.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policy, procedures, training and Team Member involvement activities
- Perform other duties as assigned.
To perform the role of an Integrated Marketing Communications - Consumer Segments Intern successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA required
- Must be available to work from August to December 2014
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday; 20 hours per week.
- Must be an actively enrolled student for the Fall 2014 semester as a college Senior
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
- Must have completed coursework within specified major
- Previous internship experience within Marketing preferred
- Previous experience in an office environment preferred
- Efficient in Microsoft Office (including, but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast – paced environment
- Ability to prioritize time – sensitive assignments
- Strong creative skills
- Ability to multi – task and organized to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong relationship management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
