BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION:


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – ANNEALING TEAM MEMBER
  • Annealing Team Members must be able to perform these functions in a manner that does not
    compromise their safety or the safety of coworkers.
  • Annealing Team Members must be able to perform these tasks for a minimum of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. If an employee is unable to perform these essential functions it is their responsibility to bring this to the attention of their supervisor, manager, or Human Resource Manager. In these situations, Baldor will discuss and attempt to provide any reasonable accommodations that may be available.
  • Ability to understand and follow all Baldor safety policies, safety training and hazard
    communication information. This includes but is not limited to wearing proper personal
    protective equipment (PPE) such as: hard hat, face shield, safety glasses, hearing protection,
    safety shoes, gloves, sleeves, and apron when required.
  • Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
    Frequently grip with hands, turn, push, and bend, along with occasional reaching above
    shoulder level, pulling, and handle cranking.
  • Ability to walk continuously and/or stand for long periods of time and to keep up with the pace
    of production in a hot environment.
  • Possess the dexterity and hand-eye coordination to utilize various hand tools, power tools, and
    other equipment to complete a variety of complex tasks. Equipment includes but is not limited to: electric chain hoists, pneumatic staplers, hydraulic lift tables, electric pallet jacks, manual
    pallet jacks, and controls with buttons.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions. Ability to read, write,
    use a calculator. In addition the employee must be able to read and understand production
    orders, inventory tags, and shipping labels.
  • Ability to maintain regular work attendance, including arriving at work on time and remaining
    at work until the end of the scheduled work day.
  • Ability to work daily and weekend overtime, including overtime on short notice.


Pay Rate $11/hr.

This position is on 2nd shift (3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.)This person will train on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) for a few days.
