Warehouse Worker

E.C. Barton & Company has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Worker in our Surplus Warehouse Division. Surplus Warehouse is a discount building materials store that offers guaranteed low prices. Come partner with a retail company that actually offers work-life balance. Our hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, and closed on Sunday.

A Warehouse Worker assists with stocking merchandise in a building materials warehouse by performing the following duties:

• Offer excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions concerning availability, price, and use of merchandise, and by assisting customers to load merchandise into their vehicles.
• Cuts carpet, vinyl, padding, and related materials to size requested by customer.
• Moves materials and supplies from receiving area to display area and marks prices on merchandise.
• Safely operates a forklift and other equipment.
