Intensive Care Nurse - ICU Nurse - (ICU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $37.00 *
St Charles Madras is a 24-bed Critical Access facility located in Madras, Oregon. Traveler will be working in both Med Surg and ICU departments. Med Surg department has 19 beds, ICU has 2 beds. Average ratio for Med Surg unit is 1:4-5 with assistance from a Nurses Aide.
Critical care nurses (CCU RNs) assist in the treatment of acutely ill patients with life-threatening conditions, in settings requiring continuous vigilance, complex assessment, and high-intensity therapies and interventions. Working with the patients and their families, ICU RNs strive to create healing, humane and caring environments while also focusing on patient advocacy, working in settings such as intensive care units and cardiac care units, where patients require complex assessment, high-intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience working in ICU and Med Surg
Current Oregon RN license
CPR/BLS - AHA or Red Cross only
ACLS - AHA or Red Cross only
Willing to float in between Med Surg and ICU departments
