Description
Medline has an immediate opening for a Contract Specialist – on the Distributed Vendor Contracts Team located in our Mundelein, IL facility. This position will primarily focus on supporting our distribution business. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a desire to work for a fast-paced organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- First point of escalation within dept and others within the division on routine contract questions
- Primary trainer on all new employees to the dept
- Help manager develop new process requirements to produce efficient and accurate workflows
- Manage customer contracts; working with industry vendors
- Resolve pricing misalignments, including invoice and credit issues
- Establish and maintain relationships with Medline sales reps, designated service managers, customers and vendors
- Resolve rebate discrepancies
- Perform any additional duties required by the division management staff
Qualification
- Project management type organizational ability and skills
- Strong problem solving ability and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication with both internal and external associates.
- Intermediate knowledge in Excel (formula’s, data manipulation, V-lookups)
- Experience in SAP and/or AS400 preferred
- 1 year of customer service preferred with experience in a high volume setting desired
- Prior medical device experience preferred
- Ability to work overtime may be required to maintain your accounts
- Ability to work with a team to accomplish goals and meet deadlines
- Four year college degree preferred
