Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for a regional territory covering the Midwest US region encompassing: ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, IN, KY, OH, WV, and Western PA. 

Networkfleet is the Verizon Fleet Management Solution.  We offer a robust solution for both vehicle management and asset tracking that can help owners and operators of fleets of all sizes to decrease costs and increase productivity.  As a Networkfleet Regional Channel Marketing Manager for the Verizon channel it will be your role to grow the awareness of our solution within the Verizon sales channels. 

 

Building and maintaining quality relationships within your assigned area is critical to success.  In order to best serve the Verizon channel you must understand the specific challenges and circumstances found in your  area as well as the unique opportunities.  You will then work with the area and corporate resources to implement plans to best support the acceleration of the busness.

 

You will leverage your relationships with local marketing resources to distribute materials, arrange and execute promotions/contests, ensure participation in area events, schedule outreach opportunities between Networkfleet and Verizon sales teams and otherwise spread the Networkfleet message.  In so doing you will build new relationships and become a liaison between the Verizon territory and Networkfleet.

 

As a liaison, you will bring the marketing needs and ideas of the Verizon channel to the attention of the Networkfleet marketing team.  You will work with the marketing team to construct creative and innovative marketing initiatives to ensure attainment of revenue and cost goals.  You will influence content creation and you will be required to design and implement specific activities to address the channels you support. 

 

Performance will be measured by the number of leads generated by your area, adherance to your budgeted expenditures, as well as other KPIs.  It will be critical to understand which activities have the most impact on the Verizon channels so we can expand and improve them in your territory or others.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the Regional Marketing Manager should possess a reasonable combination of the following:

• 5+ years working in marketing, or communications, with 2 years interfacing with front line sales teams

• 2+ years developing MARCOM for telematics products, preferably in the Fleet telematics or asset tracking space.

• 2+ years in the corporate or large organizational environment.

• Experience with Verizon Area marketing teams.

• Resourceful, get-it-done attitude.

• Quality focused.

• Strong writing skills and proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel

• Presentation experience, including large audience presentations

• Proximity to the VZ Area they will support
