Requirements:
1.Proficient in English and Spanish
2.Must be courteous to customer at all times.
3.Place numbered tickets on windshield of automobile to be valet parked and issue corresponding claim ticket hotel guests and visitors requesting automobile be valet parked.
4.Call garage attendant to valet park the automobile.
5.Collect correct amount of money, hotel or customer validation from customer.
6.Call garage attendant to retrieve valet parked automobile. (Must give garage attendant ticket to locate automobile).
7.Maintain accurate records.
8.Responsible for the appearance of the Valet Manager's booth and parking area including sweeping the booth, keeping booth windows clean, picking up paper and debris, and at the direction of the supervisor, additional housekeeping and cleaning duties.
9.Keeping Valet Manager's booth stocked with necessary forms and supplies.
10.Complete Customer Damage Report with customer and relaying all information regarding claim reports to Facility/Shift Manager or PM/DM.
11.Wear full, complete and clean uniform as provided.
12.Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
BACKGROUND AND REQUIREMENTS:
Sufficient education and work experience to ensure reading, writing, oral and number skills for successful job performance; ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, overnight and weekends; experience in the service industry, of which six months must have been in a parking setting. The physical requirements of the job can include standing for extended periods of time, sitting for extended periods of time, bending, occasional lifting (not in excess of 20lbs.), and walking up and down inclined ramps.
Driving Qualifications:
* Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission (stick Shift) vehicles and operate a vehicle in confined spaces
* Must have valid driver's license
