Labor Ready is currently hiring for a number of Deli, Utility and Prep workers in the Norcross and Alpharetta GA areas.  Outstanding opportunity – temporary, temp-to-hire and long term temp positions!  .

Job Description:  Individuals will be responsible for preparing meals and utility work for main kitchen area. 

Pay Rate:   $9.25/hour!   
Shift/Hours:    Varies to include nights and week-ends – part time work available!!!  

Job Requirements

• Maintains a high degree of cleanliness throughout cooking area.
• Preps all major food items, including deli, salads and vegetables.
• Maintains control charts of all food items produced.
• Must be able to read and follow menus and recipes; good knife skills.
• Fast paced, organized individual with strong communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food sanitation and safety.
• Ability to work various stations on the main line, hot/cold prep in pantry and assist with catering functions. Assignments will be based on experience, but will be cross-trained in all areas to build and develop strengths and experiences.
• Requires 1-2+ years a la carte cooking experience; cafeteria/hotel experience a definite plus.
• Exceptional time management skills
• Must have a professional appearance and be punctual at all times
• Must have a valid driver’s license and car as the position is not on public transit route
• Ability to stand for 8 hours is required
• References will be checked
• Uniform:  black non-slip shoes and attire determined by position.  Chef coat, knife set, chef pants required
• Strong customer service capabilities
• Meals are often provided by client
