Some agencies want warm bodies, we need warm hearted caregivers to provide personal care and homemaking services to the elderly. We are seeking people who are compassionate and caring. This is a very emotionally rewarding position with great satisfaction that comes from truly helping others.
Home health care experience preferred, however, we also hire compassionate people with heart who have little experience and train them. If you have done your own house work, cared for your family, and are just a caring person you can do this job.
Flexible hours - day, evening, and weekend hours available. The more open your schedule is the more work we will have for you.
Applicants will be required to have:
*Reliable vehicle
*Valid driver's license
*Clean background check
*Clean drug screen
*Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
*Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, stretch, stoop, walk, climb stairs and move intermittently during working hours.
General overview of duties include:
* Assistance with bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, dressing and undressing, transferring, feeding, cooking, toileting assistance, oral hygiene, shaving, grooming and bedtime care.
* Exhibit positive attitude and behavior and demonstrate respect for employees and clients and maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to clients, clients' families and employees.
* Communicate effectively with all members of the team.
* Understand that regular, consistent attendance is necessary to serve clients.
* Accept and fulfill assignments with the Agency; exercise judgment in accepting assignments.
* Perform related duties and responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the management team.
