- Coordinate scheduled /unscheduled repairs of facility and production equipment
- Coordinate with plant supervisors and managers to ensure overall plant schedules are achieved
- Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule and give proper notice to supervisors
- ensure quick response to equipment related safety concerns
- Maintain the facility and machinery to assure safety and quality standards are met
- Scheduling of required maintenance personnel for on-call duty, where applicable
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service;
- Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules
- Communicate effectively with team members, give guidance and support to decisions made by management
- 4+ years of maintenance experience
- High School Diploma/GED, Technical training preferred
- Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshooting equipment problems
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and theory
- Background check and drug screening required
