The Business Analysis Coordinator supports Optum Shared Services. This role will become the single point of contact to support the new and established processes and/or initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strong Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize projects in a multi-task, changing environment.
  • Effective Interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with staff, leadership, cross functionality, internally and externally.
  • Maintain confidentiality when working on projects with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Coordinate with Analyst to define/monitor program metrics and evaluate program performance, ensuring SLAs and departmental objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and functional requirements, workflow processes, system changes, and training needs.
  • Support, contribute to, and facilitate the identification/prioritization of business/process solutions.
  • Investigate matters of significance, recommending and implementing appropriate controls and courses of action.
  • Ability to produce within a fast-paced, matrixed organization with limited direction.
  • Assist with the development and oversight of enhanced and new initiatives.
  • Ensure delivery of quality, enhancements of business process, and continuous improvement of organization efficiency.
  • HR liaison to support and contribute to New Hire onboarding.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in a role in which you drove and supported Projects within a large organization.
  • 1+ year of Administrative Support and Customer Service experience.
  • Intermediate (or higher) level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint: Word - creating/editing  letters, templates and forms (client). Excel - formulas, pivot tables, pulling data into different views. Powerpoint - utilize Powerpoint for presentations, create graphs for presentations.  .
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Clinical Terminology knowledge and/or Clinical experience.
  • Microsoft SharePoint experience.
  • Vendor or Health Plan experience.
  • Recent, hands-on experience with Microsoft Access.
