Rapidly growing web based health food and dietary supplement company is seeking a full time E-commerce Admin (data-entry/marketing/social media/blogging/graphics person). We are seeking a candidate who would be excited and ready to be part of a booming dot com.
We're a small, but very successful company with less than 10 employees. This means that we need every team member to be exceptional, and we don't have any room for mediocrity like larger companies with 100+ employees need to tolerate.
This position will work as an assistant to our E-commerce Business Director to plan, implement, and maintain new online marketplace projects, and maintain current projects. Some examples of responsibilities:
- Add new product listings to current Bigcommerce web sites, Amazon, and Ebay
- Write newsletters, blog articles, Facebook/Twitter posts
- Create banners for sales using Photoshop
- Add product lines to retail marketplaces like Sears.com and Buy.com
- Add product lines to wholesale marketplaces like Alibaba.com
- Research and implement affiliate program
- Research and implement Fulfillment by Amazon
- Add product lines to online shopping comparison directories like Google Shopping
- Research and implement online advertising and SEO
- Help troubleshoot issues with printers or other general office PC snags.
Required skills and qualities:
- Windows 7 and Microsoft Excel + Word
- Google research proficiency
- Photoshop
- Attention to detail and focus
- English fluency
- Good writing skills (product descriptions, newsletters, blogging, etc)
- Exceptional work ethic and enthusiasm
Basic skills will be tested during trial day!!
Preferred skills and qualities:
- E-commerce marketplaces (Ebay, Amazon, Bigcommerce, etc)
- Basic familiarity with HTML and CSS
- Online ads, marketing, and SEO
- Copy writing (product descriptions)
- Social media (blogs, facebook, twitter, pinterest)
Pay is $15/hr full or part time (20-40 hrs per week). We will consider someone coming on part time to transition to full time once we're all satisfied that the job is a good fit long term. Hours are 9-5. Location is near the Florida Mall. Health benefits available after 90 days.
VACATION TIME: No candidates will be considered with vacations booked/needed within the first 6 months after hire. We need key people who prioritize career potential over taking short term vacations. Paid vacation time will be offered after 1 year.
