Dickey’s Barbecue pit is now hiring Assistant Managers.

The role of the Assistant Manager is to assist the general manager in running the day-to-day restaurant operations at the specified location. The ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:

  • 1+ years experience as Assistant Manager or Shift Manager of a quick service restaurant
  • Provides daily leadership and training for a lean yet productive crew
  • Demonstrates the ability to make on-the-fly labor decisions to hit financial labor targets
  • Trains staff members to minimize waste in food preparation
  • Ability to assist the GM with vendor orders and delivery check-in
  • Ability to perform basic administrative reporting tasks on Microsoft Office platform and Aloha POS system
  • Effective customer service through catering order to delivery cycle
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills including transparency with general manager and franchise owner
  • Personable with excellent customer service & training skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Be able to maintain and improve processes
