Sr. Tax Accountant - Direct Hire

We are seeking motivated, organized professionals who have the ability to work both individually and as part of a team, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and who are committed to providing excellent customer service

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals
Prepare federal and state tax returns for C Corp, S Corp and Partnership
Organize work effectively to meet deadlines
Research and analyze complex tax issues
Conform with the highest degree of professional standards
Take ownership of projects and actions
Proactively communicate with clients and staff to build trust and foster meaningful partnerships
Develops knowledge personally as well as the skills of subordinate staff
Effectively delegates task to staff and takes responsibility for them completing work

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years' experience
Bachelor of Science in accounting and/or master's in accounting/taxation
Graduate level tax courses, MBA (tax) preferred
CPA or CPA candidate

Competence in 1040,1041,1120,1120s, and 1065
Strong computer skills including Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to problem-solve
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to engage in all of the firm's practice areas
