About this job


Provide outstanding customer service to WORLDPAC core customer base and assist the outbound sales team with achieving growth objectives.

Assists outbound sales department by providing outstanding customer service.
Periodically covers the desk of absent or unavailable outbound sales teammates.
Secures and places orders for processing.
Handles a high volume of inbound sales calls.
Prepares order quotes and processing. Calls prospective customers to explain service or product offered.
Achieves assigned performance goals and objectives set by management.

Required Skills
Experience in automotive parts customer service and sales.
Telemarketing and customer service experience.

Uses analytical and problem solving skills.
Proficiency in data entry, including speed and accuracy.
Remains goal oriented with continuous drive to succeed. Multitasking capability.
Reliable and punctual attendance.
The regular workweek is forty hours, however, requirements of the position may warrant extended work hours. Overtime is sometimes needed with little or no advance notice. Teammates must be available to work mandatory overtime and Saturdays.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write clear and grammatical reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Proficiency in the use of technology tools used to manage and develop new and existing customers, including but not limited to computer hardware and software, on-line resources, intranet and telephone systems.
Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment.

Desired skills
-Customer service experience in and knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry or related industry.

-Supervisory and sales experience preferred.

-Bi-lingual skills preferred.
