Description

Summary: Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Primary responsibility is to ensure that all trucks, backstock from trucks, displays, etc. are stocked properly and efficiently throughout the entire store.

Serves as the primary supervisor of the stock crews on 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd shifts.
o Stocks trucks along with the crews on all shifts and ensures proper conditions are maintained at all times.

Assist the Inventory Manager as directed and on days off with managing all ordering processes for all CAO orders
o Reviews System generated Exceptions
o Checks all lows and outs
o Manages Displays

Assists the Inventory Manager as directed and on days off with analyzing all backstock from all CAO orders

Assists the Inventory Manager as directed and on days off with reviewing/editing all DSD CAO orders

Builds weekly displays per the Display map and plan provided by Inventory manager. Assists with the planning process as directed

Leads the non-perishable inventory preparation and is the primary personnel in charge of store preparation, backstock counting, and blocking

Assists Inventory manager with comparing the current store inventory to system maintained Balance on Hand as directed.

Creates necessary picklist and ensures that all merchandise in the building is replenished properly and available for sale to the consumer

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three years related non-perishable stocking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:
Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Will be required to write simple correspondence, and must be able to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SoftGrocer inventory software.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 6 to 10 employees in the Non-perishables departments. Conduct supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
