A client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description:
- Ensure invoices are paid timely and accurately to maximize discounts
- Ensure transactions are processed in compliance with company policies
- Receive and respond to vendor and employee inquiries
- Reconcile vendor accounts
- Prepare and enter month-end general ledger accruals
- Maintain accounts payable aging report
- Assist in 1099 research and filing
- Assist with consolidation of subsidiaries
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience in a fast paced company
- Ability to process at least 400 invoices monthly
- Maintain and manage invoice on holds and aging reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
