About this job
Aerotek Scientific is in need of a laboratory technician. Candidate will be responsible for:
-Plant care in a greenhouse setting including planting, irrigating, and fertilizing corn samples.
-Plant care in a field setting. Conducting field trials.
-Sampling, photosynthesis, and leaf punching in the greenhouse.
-Sample processing including grinding, weighing, submission & tracking the samples.
-Solution and sample prep on the corn samples.
-Pipetting and working with 96-well plates.
-Collecting and managing data.
-Other duties (cleaning, field and greenhouse work, stocking, documentation/clerical work, etc.) as assigned.
