This is a consultative sales role which involves presenting a Medicare Advantage plan called the UHC Nursing Home Plan to nursing home residents, their families and/or legal representatives.


This position requires a compassionate approach to sales as well as previous outside sales experience within the healthcare or health insurance industries.


This role also involves developing and maintaining relationships with nursing home staff as well as conducting marketing activities.


The Sales and Account Manager is responsible for the generation and conversion of qualified leads ensuring a minimum number of new enrollees each month as established by the Sales Market Leader.


The Sales and Account Manager will adhere to sales compliance standards according to all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements and Company Policies and Procedures.


The Sales and Account Manager will:


Develop and maintain key customers relationships with existing and new nursing homes.


Market to the nursing homes and conduct other marketing events to promote sales.


Present product information to eligible participants, their families or legal representatives.


Be responsible for business growth targets.


Develop Sales strategies to achieve and establish Sales pipeline.

Requirements

2+ years sales and marketing experience in healthcare or health insurance, preferably with seniors ideally.


Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong consultative selling and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and manage relationships to reach business goals.
Ability to be compassionate while selling.
Function independently and responsibly with minimal need for supervision.


Strong organizational skills.
Time and Territory Management experience.


Must be able to work some evenings/weekends.
Ability to travel throughout the State of GA.
Reliable, insured transportation and a valid drivers license.
Computer skills: Windows-based applications and lead management software.
Previous experience selling Medicare products is strongly preferred.


Understanding of the nursing home environment strongly preferred.


GA Health insurance license preferred;required within 60 days of hire
