Be a part of the new Medicaid program where we are servicing membership across the state of Kansas!  We are looking for talented professionals with strong healthcare program/project management background to provide oversight to our community programs.

 

The Manager of Clinical Program Managers leads develops and implements (with support from National Complex Care/Long Term Care Clinical Operations team) appropriate clinical model for Special Population served based on state contract deliverables, national established complex care/LTC clinical models and within financial reimbursement model/contract funding.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 


  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.


  • Oversees a virtual team of Clinical Program Management staff which may include RN's or Social Workers.


  • Overall responsibility for the supervision and coordination of all workflow activities the designated team.


  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges.


  • Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities.


  • Ensures business processes are in place to monitor and manage Special Program operational processes as defined by the state contract and/or national standardized model components.


  • Develops, implements, and monitors Special Program clinical processes metrics and monthly report card.


  • Assists with development of policy, procedure, standard operating procedure, workflow, job aides, training materials for Special Program or other health plan initiatives.


  • Develops and manages Special Program OR other clinical project/program work plans to achieve objectives.


  • Facilitates cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams.


  • Predicts emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them.


  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business


  • Participates in the development of business strategy


  • Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences.


  • Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, programs, and/or approaches.

Requirements

Requirements:

 


  • Active and unrestricted RN or Licensed in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling, or Licensed Ph.D


  • 3+ years clinical of experience


  • Demonstrated leadership experience (preferably experience managing a team of remote/telecommuter employees)


  • Experience in Managed Care and/or Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)


  • Proficiency in software applications that include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint


  • Demonstrated ability to assist with focusing activities toward a strategic direction as well as develop tactical plans, drive performance and achieve target


  • Problem solving skills; the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions and devise appropriate courses of action


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from others.


  • Flexible to travel out in the community and throughout the state of Kansas

 

 

 

Additional Assets Preferred:

 


  • HCBS experience a plus (Home & Community Based Services)


  • Analytics, database, project management experience


  • Master's degree


  • Electronic documentation experience


  • Case Management experience and/or Certified Case Manager (CCM)


  • Experience/exposure with discharge planning


  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities will be keys to success
