Employees in this function work in the Analysis phase of the System Development cycle and consult with users to evaluate business requirements, identify operating procedures, evaluate existing or proposed systems, and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. This function also is intended to include those that also may define business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead
  requirements gathering, service-oriented modeling, analysis and design
  activities.
• Develop
  detailed design specifications including service models and message
  schemas.
• Develop
  detailed source-to-target data mapping and data transformation rules.
• Develop
  and use enterprise service and data models.
• Act
  as the liaison between Business and Systems Analysts, Developers and
  project management groups within UnitedHealth Group.
• Present
  and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict
  resolution.
• Define,
  use and communicate design patterns and best practices in service oriented
  analysis, design, and development.
•  Develop strategies to improve
  service development life cycle and governance processes.
• Plan and manage assignments of
  varying scope.
• Provide a broad business
  approach.
• Resource to senior leadership. 
• Develop pioneering approaches to
  emerging industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors' Degree.
• 5+
  years of IT Systems Analyst experience.
• 5+
  years of experience with PL/SQL and SQL Development.
• 3+ years of Leadership experience. 
• Previous
  experience with SDLC Methodology.

• Experience
  with Agile SDLC Methodology.
• Healthcare
  Claims experience.
• Microsoft Visio experience.
• Business
  Process experience.
