Product Manager - Full-time / Part-time

• Serve as business and product lead for small to medium-size projects.


• Assess and interprets customer needs and requirement.


• Work with business segments to better define project requirements for development and implementation.


• Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion.


• Support translation of business requirements into technical specifications.


• Work with developers to get projects developed and implemented.


• Coordinates work activities with other supervisors.


• Develop and write client and product communications.


• Participate in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with developers and business resources.


• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems.


• Solve moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.


• Work with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks


• Owns output at task level.


• Develops plans to meet short-term objectives


• Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment.


• Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan.


• Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and/or customers (internal or external).

• 5+ years of product and/or project management or development experience within a matrix organization


• 3+ years of  working with commercial healthcare products (specifically HIM coding, editing, prospective payment system a plus)


• 2+ years working with Agile SCRUM Development


• Experience with web-based and desktop applications


• Experience with professional writing and editing


• Understanding of Commercial Software distribution


• Strong knowledge base of web-based application installation, troubleshooting and deployments


• Demonstrated Ability to manage and prioritize deliverables


• Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity

• Communication; work independently with little or no direction; collaborate with a team; critical thinking/creative thinking (complex problem, analyze it and provide solution)
