Summary: The Delivery Manager is part of the ePMO group that supports the Interactive Design Service (iDS) team in Southfield Michigan. The team provide research, user experience, visual design and front end development to Optum. The team has implemented a process to operationalize the practice due to significant expansion of staff. Responsibilities:
Driving delivery and managing stakeholder routines to support project execution
Leading teams working in a scaled-Agile methodology
Creating project plans, communicating those plans and managing to those plans
Actively managing and mitigating issues, risks, assumptions and dependencies
Developing a program road map that provides visibility to stakeholders for work in progress
Support for new requests for creative team services for digital initiatives
Driving consensus and decision-making with stakeholders
Providing status reporting to stakeholders on a regular basis
Manage project metrics, resource allocations, financials status
Support development of process improvement such as common templates, standard repositories, and develop efficiencies in execution
Facilitate change requests for work in progress (estimation, review and acceptance)
Support collaboration with ePMO operations and program staff in enterprise programs
Partners with other ePMO program management personnel to identify efficiencies in execution (e.g., procurement, finance, vendor management, etc.

Requirements

7 + years of IT project management experience managing a portfolio of 3M+
5 + years managing multiple staff in technology initiatives
Experience working in development of digital experience (B2C or B2B)
Successful track record of delivering complex, cross application projects on scope, on time & on budget
Excellent collaboration, team building and relationship management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate technology matters to business partners
Self-directed and able to produce results in a large corporate, matrix environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to work in Detroit office
Able to work flexible hours to support collaboration with distributed teams (may include some weekends)
Ability to travel overnight 10%

ASSETS:
Experience in Planview
Experience in Clarity
Experience in Visio
Experience in MS Project
Knowledge of how projects fit into a program portfolio
Experience with SharePoint or a similar collaboration tool
Experience within the healthcare industry
Prior experiences using Agile or scaled-Agile methodologies/processes
PMP certification
