Aerotek Commercial Staffing is currently seeking qualified welder/fabricators for contract-to-hire opportunities in the Portland, OR area.
-This person will be required to read blueprints to fabricate parts; will operate a press brake and sheer, and will be involved in machinery installations for capital projects.
-When directed, this person will also assist with facility maintenance.
-This position may require individual to work on roofs and other high places and is a physically demanding job.
-Would prefer someone with lead or supervisory experience.
-Requirements:
3+ Years Experience Fabrication Experience
Welding and Burning Experience
Ability to read and translate blueprints to weld to specifications
Ability to lay out fabrication parts
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
