Job Description
- Candidate will conduct welding processes to join, surface, and fabricate
parts of metal or other wieldable materials as specified by work order, blueprints or sketches.
- Assembles mechanical units or fabricated parts at floor stations within their cell to make subassemblies or complete units using hand tools and light power tools and equipment.
- Operates a variety of programmable machine tooling to machine metalwork according to production specifications.
- Performs a variety of quality control inspections on products, materials, components and parts at various stages within the cellular business unit to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
-2nd and 3rd shift positions
Requirements
- Demonstrated MIG welding capabilities
- Candidates should have a minimum high school diploma;
- Must be able to read blueprints
- 1-2 years previous welding experience in a manufacturing setting preferred; and demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, highly flexible, team environment.
