About this job
We are in need of a Pharmacy Technician (Cpht or Rpht) to join a thriving organization in South Orlando. This is a long term contract opportunity, with the potential for a permanent position with our client.
The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast paced position, taking inbound and placing outgoing calls. Some responsibilities will include:
Assist pharmacists in obtaining necessary information to contact prescribers for new prescriptions and/or resubmissions.
Provide assistance to callers which may include prescription quantities, refills, substitution indicators, and prescriber information.
Communicate via fax & telephone effectively with prescribers in a polite, professional, and accurate manner(includes Fax and or call Doctors offices for clarifications, new and refill prescriptions)
Data entry of prescriptions, adjudicating claims, printing delivery tickets and assisting with filling of orders
Review incoming faxed prescriptions and obtain clarification and or missing information required before Pharmacist processing.
Candidate must currently be a Registered or Certified Pharm Tech for consideration.
The schedule will be Monday-Friday, 1130AM-8:00PM, with occasional Saturday mornings.
