Aerotek is currently seeking Maintenance Technicians for one of our premier clients in Maryville, TN. Successful candidates will be proficient with PLC troubleshooting. The ability to hookup a laptop to machines and troubleshoot PLC programs is required.
Job Description
Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery in an automotive manufacturing facility. Working with high voltage electricity (480 volts), motor controls, control panels, robots, and 3 phase wiring. Mechanical abilities must include experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and working with various machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, drills, and surface grinders. Experience welding is a huge plus.
This is a 12 hour continental shift position with some overtime required. This is not a swing shift position, but candidates must be able to work an AM or PM shift.
Top Skill Sets:
1. Repair and maintain industrial equipment and facilities.
2. Strong skills including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, HVAC, troubleshooting.
3. PLC Knowledge including Allen Bradley, Omron, and Mitsubishi
4. Welding and machine shop experience.
5. Ability to troubleshoot multiple industrial components.
Minimum Requirements:
1). High school diploma or GED required
2). Technical degree in a Maintenance field, apprenticeship, or Journeyman certificate preferred
3). Ability to troubleshoot PLC's and read ladder logic
4). 1-3 years experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
5). Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
6). Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test
7). Willing to submit to a background check
