Cardiac Catheterization Lab Nurse - (Cath Lab RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 D
We have a great perm position for you!
Looking for a Cath-RN with at least 1 year of exp to join a wonderful team of 10 docs, 3 FT cath tech and 2 cath RN's. You would support 2 rooms. One is vascular and Peripheral and the other is cath with angio procedures. No EP. Equip is Mac Lab and GE3100 and GE4100 and Angijet for balloon.
40 hours per week with rotating call every other week for the full week. Days with 4-10's.
Immediate start and pay is based on experience.
The role of the cardiac catheterization lab nurse (cath lab RN) is to administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart, identifying blockages, assisting the physician during procedures, and monitoring the patient’s status at other times. The cath lab nurse may also help administer interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures. Cath lab RNs must be highly specialized and work to stay abreast of the latest techniques in cardiac medicine.
