Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cath Lab Tech)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $41.00-46.00 *
Cardiovascular interventional technologists, or cath lab techs, assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiac and/or peripheral vascular diseases. Cath lab techs assist physicians in a variety of procedures, such as:
Required Qualifications
EP Tech that would be able to scrub all implants, provide conscious sedation and use the GE system for documenting. In addition for ablations we would want them to have reasonable experience circulating in those, be familiar with some of the more complex ablations (Atrial fibrillation -AF, Ventricular Tachycardia- VT etc..) For them to be able to take measurements on Prucka (monitoring system) and be quite familiar setting up the two mapping systems we use; Carto 3, and Ensite (ESI).
If Split to Cath and has exp as well would need: to be comfortable using the Boston Scientific IVUS machine, Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP), on rare occasion Impella. NY would require ARRT for Cath tech to perform this area.
3-13 days with 30 mins for meal break.

- Thrombolysis procedures
- Balloon angioplasty
- Open-heart surgeries
- Pacemaker insertions
