Business Development Analyst - Mulitple Locations

The Business Development Analyst will be supporting MidAtlantic Key Accounts
Sales with Employer Group customers with 100-3000 employees. The
employee will be responsible for quoting new business. Experience with
servicing and collaborating with the Broker community is required.
Candidate must be systems-, process- and operational-oriented. The ability
to organize and prioritize, work independently and in a team environments, and to handle high-stress situations and tight deadlines are required.
The employee will be required to provide New Business Process subject
matter expertise. Maintaining Internal and External relationships is a
must. Candidate must also have excellent verbal and written communication
skills.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• State Health Insurance License for MD, VA, and DC.
• 1+ year of experience in Health Insurance, to include exposure to Underwriter methodology.
• 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office, including utilization of formulas and pivot tables in Excel.

Soft Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Keyboarding skills, in accordance with work volume and quality requirements. 
• Demonstrated customer service skills in a professional business environment. 
• Focus on results, organized, and analytical thinker. 
• Extremely detail-oriented.
