Primary Responsibilities:
- Drive innovation within the organization and create an environment that fosters innovation.
- Direct team to complete projects on time, within budget.
- Coordinate, supervise, and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit
- Complete assigned, complex or long-term projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
- Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion
- Coordinate work activities with other supervisors
- Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
- Work with clients to help resolve escalated issues.
- Supervise IT personnel and oversee all aspects of their job functions; grow, develop, and mentor team members; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
- Ensures that code reviews are completed and that standards are followed.
- Takes initiative to find opportunities to do things better, quicker, and smarter. Should be self-directed and proactive, able to think beyond the immediate problem and anticipate using exceptional judgment and problem solving abilities.
- Ensures compliance with security, infrastructure processes, policies and other administrative/corporate procedures.
- Manage overall work of 5 to 12 IS and business professionals in multiple work groups
- Management and administration of multiple IT Functions, or managing general operations which are not specific to one IT Function

Requirements
Requirements:
- 3 or more years of experience managing or leading a technical team
- 5 or more years of related hands-on technology experience
- Background of experience in object orientated programming languages and relational databases
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Assets:
- Healthcare experience
- Experience with .NET technology
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Excellent communication skills
