About this job
The fitter will be fitting steel frames and pipes for interstate/highway signs. Candidate will be responsible for lay out, position, align, fit and fabricate forged and steel pipe. The fitter will select equipment and plan layout assembly. The fitter will also be responsible for reading and interpreting detailed drawings/blueprints.
- reading and interpreting detailed drawings
- laying out and fitting material as described in detail drawings
-ability to tack weld material into place
-crane operation to move pieces into place
