Aerotek Scientific in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is in need of a Lab Technician. Candidates will be responsible for:
-Working mainly in the Microbiology lab, where they will be preparing and making media and plating samples.
-Microbiological analysis of samples and food Pathogen testing such as Salmonella.
-Evaluating physical characteristics of samples and performing quality control testing on all samples in the lab.
-Documentation and data entry of lab results.
-Following Standard Operating Procedures. Maintaining and cleaning of the lab and lab equipment.
