2nd Shift Film Process Technician / Slitter Operator
**Position will require for the candidate to train on 1st shift for several weeks!!
POSITION PURPOSE:
- Slits film, Packages Bulk Glitter and tests glitter samples for particle size. Cleans and maintains the film production area and equipment in accordance with cGMP standards and any SOPs that impact specific areas. And any other tasks as needed
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates film slitting equipment.
- Cleans production equipment, in the slitting room and other places as needed.
- Performs tests on Glitter products.
- Packages film and Glitter Products.
- Performs tasks according to cGMP’s.
- Fills out all the necessary paperwork for these jobs.
- Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum: High School Diploma, GED or Technical School Diploma.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Able to lift up to 55 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to work with all levels of employees in a productive manner.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- None
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Ongoing cGMP training to stay current with all areas required by the company.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regularly required to stand, stoop, push, pull, reach, bend and walk.
- Regularly required to move arms and body in order to perform cleaning tasks, i.e. vacuuming, floor cleaning, window washing, etc.
- May be required to use a pallet jack.
- Moderate to heavy physical effort required.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
- Safety Glasses when on the production floor.
- Gloves as required.
- “Dust” masks as needed/required.
- Any other PPE as required/recommended.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Works in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with moderate noise.
- Works in an environment with many different aromas.
OTHER:
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
