Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $27.00 - 31.00
This unit is looking for compassionate and committed RN's who are dedicated to providing comprehensive care to these important patients. 400 births/month, RN's do pre-op, circulate, & recover c-sections. They do have L&D Scrub techs as well. Ratio is 1:2 or 1:1 on high risk deliveries. They are a busy unit, so qualified candidates need to have similar experience, minimum of 2 years with high volume and high risk experience.
Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
NC or compact active license
3 years exp in specialty
3 years large hospitals ( over 400 beds )
Previous travel expereience
BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM
